Why join the Fischer Elementary School PTA? What is the money used for? What does the PTA do?
The PTA provides financial assistance to the school for many activities, including:
- Book fair vouchers, Birthday Book Club, Great Books Reading Club
- Reach, SERG (special education program), Science Olympiad & Reflections
- Teacher appreciation, assemblies, classroom parties & testing day snacks
- Volunteer services to students and staff
Parents meet monthly with teachers and the principal to discuss what's going on in our children's classrooms and in the school, as well as upcoming events. Attendance is suggested but not mandatory and as a member, you receive FREE babysitting during monthly meetings.
If you want to give your child the best educational experience possible, become a member of the PTA today!
Please support the PTA by joining, volunteering, and participating in the PTA/Student Support Fee.
