York PTSA


Membership

The goal of York PTSA is to enrich our students’ education and to provide a forum for communication and cooperation between parents, teachers and students alike – a place to share information, ideas and concerns. We hope that you will join us by becoming a member of the York Parent Teacher Student Association. Adult membership includes the electronic York student directory.

Please note that in order to volunteer for any PTSA position or at any PTSA-sponsored event or activity, you must be a PTSA member.


PTSA Donation – “Fair Share”

In order to raise funds for the many programs and events that PTSA sponsors, we request that those who are able to do so make a “Fair Share” donation. The recommended amount is $25 per student, but we welcome any amount. Fair Share funds enable PTSA to help support events and programs such as, but not limited to:

  • Freshman BBQ
  • Senior Picnic
  • Post Prom Odyssey Trip
  • Challenge Day
  • Award Nights
  • Senior Scholarships
  • Student Organizations & Clubs
  • Speakers/Events
  • Academic Boosters Events
  • Teacher Appreciation Events

Please consider a Fair Share donation whether or not you decide to join PTSA. Thank you!


Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to meet other families while helping our students and faculty. Opportunities range in commitment from an hour of time at home to organizing and running an event or activity. All volunteer support is encouraged and welcome! Please see the York PTSA website for more information about events, programs and volunteer opportunities.
